I’m Pregnant
Facing an unplanned pregnancy
An unexpected pregnancy can feel like too many decisions at once. You can talk through parenting and adoption here. Calling or emailing does not sign you up for anything.
The first meeting is about you
People around you may already be giving advice. The choice still belongs to you. A counselor will ask about your health, your housing, the other parent, and what you want the next year to look like.
If you want to parent, we will point you toward medical care, food help, and housing resources. If you want to learn about adoption, we will explain your options, the kinds of contact you can choose, and what an adoption plan can look like. You can stop at any time—talking with us is not a commitment.
If you choose an adoption plan
Making an adoption plan does not erase that you are this child’s parent. It means you are asking another family to take on the daily work of raising them with love. You can say what kind of family you want, and how much contact you want afterward.
You should never be asked to pay a fee to place your child. Our counseling is free to expectant and birth parents.
