I Gave Birth
You can still ask questions
Whether you are still in the hospital or you are raising a child and circumstances have changed, you can ask what an adoption plan would involve. Asking is not the same as deciding.
Newborns and older children
Some parents contact us days after birth. Others are caring for a toddler or a school-age child and cannot keep that child safe and housed. Both situations can lead to an adoption plan when it is what the parent chooses.
It is never too late to change plans. We will walk you through what to expect and answer your questions before you sign anything.
If parenting is the plan
If you want to parent, we will help you look for medical care, food assistance, and housing referrals. Adoption is not the only reason to contact us.
If you are in immediate danger, call 911. If you need help leaving an abusive situation, contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 800-799-7233.
